Saving time and effort in the search for the right sustainable product
2050 materials aims to combine all sustainability information into a single platform, enabling architects, contractors and engineers to learn more about sustainable building materials in an accessible way. With a large database focused on the whole of Europe, users of 2050 materials should also be able to compare different materials. Not only does this help to find out which materials are the most suitable for a specific building project, according to the 2050 materials founders the platform also reduces and time and effort by creating transparency.
How products find their way into the platform
2050 Materials offers a broad range of product information on sustainable building materials. While a lot of that information comes from publicly available sources, the start-up also offers producers of building materials the opportunity to register their own products, after checking whether they are really sustainable.
As part of the future collaboration with natureplus, it is also planned that all natureplus certified products will be made available on the 2050 materials platform.
