How can I become a member?
The quickest way to become a natureplus member is through our online application form. All data is securely transmitted to us. After we receive your application, the natureplus board will decide on your admission as a new member.
Who can participate?
- Building product retailers who support sustainable construction
- Manufacturers & importers of building products and their associations
- Environmental organizations
- Consumer and health organizations, consulting and public institutions
- Construction and housing industry, architects and their associations
- Research facilities, scientific institutions and testing laboratories
- Employee representatives/Trade unions
- Individuals with a connection to the building sector
Other natural persons or companies not included in this list (e.g., from other economic sectors) can support the association as a supporting member (without voting rights).
How can I actively contribute?
As an active member, you have special rights, and we encourage you to use them: You can actively participate in various committees and contribute to our events. Furthermore, you have voting rights at our general meetings and can thus help shape the future of the association. Every member receives a written invitation to these meetings. We look forward to your active participation.
What does supporting membership mean?
As a supporting member, you are a passive, non-voting member and provide non-material support to the natureplus Association in its activities with an annual contribution of your choice (minimum €100).
Is my membership the same as a natureplus certification?
No. Membership in the natureplus Association supports the association's goals and enables participation, exchange, and access to the network. It is not a product test or product certification. The natureplus eco-label may only be used for products that have been tested and certified according to the applicable natureplus award criteria.
What does my membership achieve?
As a non-profit organization, the natureplus Association is committed to transforming the construction sector towards greater climate-friendly, resource-conserving, and healthy-living properties in building and housing. Your membership supports our mission and helps make the future worth living for us and future generations.

How much does it cost to become a member?
The membership fee is tiered as follows:
- Companies and organizations pay:
- up to 10 employees: €200/year
- up to 50 employees: €500/year
- up to 100 employees: €1,000/year
- for more than 100 employees: €2,000/year
- Individuals pay €100/year.
- Supporting members choose their own contribution amount and contribute at least €100/year.
How can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership with three months' notice to the end of the year, in writing to our postal address or by email to info@natureplus.org.

- Up to 50 employees €200/year
- From 50 employees €500/year
- From 100 employees €1,000/year
- For more than 100 employees €2,000/year
- Individuals pay €100/year.
- Supporting members pay a minimum contribution of €80/year. For companies, a guideline contribution of €5 per employee per month is recommended for supporting members.
How can I cancel my membership?
You can cancel your membership at any time in writing, in accordance with the statutes, by sending it to our postal address or via email to info@natureplus.org.
