The Baustoffwende (Building Materials Transition) association funding project is supported by the German Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety. It is primarily a communication project through which natureplus aims to raise awareness among building professionals regarding climate, health, and resource protection in construction materials, while also sensitizing the broader public to these issues. natureplus seeks to provide guidance for choosing sustainable building products and thereby contribute to reducing the environmental problems described.

The goal is to move the discussion about materials out of specialized circles and into the public consciousness. We intend to focus on modern knowledge transfer and are planning the creation of digital teaching and information materials (such as summaries, presentations, and videos from our events), as well as the distribution of new formats via our online channels. As part of this project, we are also planning to update our website to serve as a central hub for those interested in environmentally friendly building materials, as well as to expand and intensify our communication across all channels.

This project was funded by the German Environment Agency and the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection. The funding was provided based on a resolution of the German Bundestag. The authors are responsible for the content of this publication.
